Our Apostolic Visit

Hello There!

So, our PDAY was moved to today since we had meetings yesterday. Just in case you wondered why I didn’t blog yesterday and why I am blogging today.

This week I have to say has been so full that we are literally on our feet all day. Its insane but I love it! Haha! Needless to say I am grateful for this time that I have to be able to serve the Lord here in Grants Pass! I love my dear companion Elder Roller! He is the best and he has become a dear friend in this great work. We are seeing many miracles come as we serve together and work hard together.

Honestly, we worked so incredibly hard this week to get find new investigators. This weekend we had dinner with a wonderful family and a stake presidency member who wanted to introduce them to us. This wonderful family made a home cooked and hand made Mexican entree’s! It was amazing! Afterwards we shared with them the video of President Thomas S. Monson giving his testimony of Jesus Christ. When we shared that we also shared our testimony of Christ and then we began to discuss the role that Christ has had in their lives. It was an incredible discussion! Turns out that the wife is a returning member, and the husband is not a member but sees that the faith in his wife is so strong that he wants to learn for himself. It’s amazing! We left that night with a return appointment for next week!

This weekend was also incredible to have Elder Marcus B Nash of the First Quorum of the Seventy come to tour our mission. It was incredible to feel of his spirit during the meeting and to also learn that he was on direct assignment from the President Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and was delegated those priesthood keys in conjuncture with that assignment. I could just feel the love that he has for each one of the missionaries especially as he shook my hand and looked into my eyes, I literally felt like he was looking into my soul! I loved the things that he taught about our personal conversion and being bold but not overbearing. Everything he taught I felt was very much inspired! Having all that take place on Saturday, Monday was even more of a treat being able to attend the Missionary Leadership Council with Elder Nash and his wife. I absolutely loved being involved in how we can recognize our plan and purpose in life and as a missionary, how to study and teach by the Spirit, and how to Endure to the End with Fire! I am super excited to plan out for our coming Zone Training Meeting on this Friday!
